Children who participated Kids’ ISO 14000 Programme increased their environmental awareness through the work in the programme and from the evaluation sheets which they receive. Those children also influence their environmental awareness on the family members with whom they work together on environmental management of household in the home in the programme.

As results from them, the amount of the emission of green house gas from house hold is reduced. The reduced amount of CO2 emission is evaluated by the Eco-Kids Instructors, and ArTech issues the certificate of the reduction of CO2 emission. This certificate can be used in the market of CDM, based on Kyoto Protocol, which is effective from February 2005.

The right for the half of the reduced amount of CO2 belongs to the organization that implements Kids’ ISO 14000 Programme. The right for another half of the reduced amount of CO2 belongs to those children. The amount which belongs to the children is endorsed to ArTech, and ArTech will sell the collected amount of CO2 in the market, and donate the money or goods by the names of the schools to the children in the countries where their lands are going to sink under water due to the rise of sea level by global warming.

By the end of 2005, the total amount of reduction of CO2 emission by Kids' ISO 14000 Programme is estimated to be about more than 40,000 tons.
