In this page, we are going to introduce articles and idea which is related to Kids' ISO 14000 program from children.
There are four categories,electricity, water consumption, garbage and gas.
We will introduce not only Australia's and Japan's children but also all children who work on Kids' ISO 14000 program in the world..


the Use of Refrigerator
Figure out what you want to eat /drink before you open the fridge. (5th grade, Australia)
Determine general place of staffs in the refrigerator so that you can take them out quickly. (6th grade, Japan)
I hang a plastic curtain inside the refrigerator.(6th grade, Japan)
Decide what to cook before you go to supermarkets.   (6th grade, Japan)
the Use of Air conditioner
Put a timer on your fan.        (5th grade, Australia)

se a fan to mix cold air from air conditioner and warm air in the room.(6th grade, Japan)
Use a paper fan instead of using electric fan and air conditioner.(6th grade, Japan)

Television
I will only watch TV for an hour.         (5th grade, Australia)
Instead of playing computer games go to the park.       (5th grade, Australia)
Donft watch TV more than 3 hours.      (6th grade, Japan)
Light
Turn everything off at switches.       (5th grade, Australia)
Have curtains open during the day instead of turning lights on.  (5th grade, Australia)
Ask family members to get together in a room to turn the lights off in other rooms.  (5th grade, Japan)
All family members get up early and go to bed early.  (6th grade, Japan)
Washing machine & Dryer
Use clothesline instead of dryers.     (5th grade, Australia)

Put a bucket outside when it rains and use rainwater to water flowers.     (6th grade, Japan)
Water flower with water used to wash rice.          (6th grade, Japan)
Save rainwater and sprinkle the garden with it when it is hot.       (6th grade, Japan)
Use a tub when you wash dishes.     (6th grade, Japan)
Wipe oily stuff like mayonnaise off before you wash dishes.         (6th grade, Japan)

Put bottles of water in the sun to heat them.@If you cover them with a black plastic bag, they get warmer.      (6th grade, Japan)
