Objective
The drastic change in environment and climate such as global warming has been reported. These issues are critical especially for the future generation. Therefore, this meeting was organised in order to share the idea from the case studies of Environmental Education in Swedish and Japanese schools.

Environmental Education has been regarded as an important factor for achieving the sustainable society. The decade of Education for Sustainable Development (UNDESD) further support this idea and set an international framework. In this meeting, it is expected that both countries take on to the further step through.the information exchange and interaction between Japan and Sweden.
