International Certificates
International Certificate is issued by International Committee of ArTech, and is supported by United Nations University(UNU), United Nations Environmental Programme(UNEP) and International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
Primary Level
Children who carried out the Primary level programme by use of the workbook
on environmental management of household for 8 weeks or more as the leader
in the home. The workbooks are evaluated by Eco-Kids Instructors of Kids'
ISO 14000 Programme. The International Certificate will be awarded to the
children whose points of the evaluation is higher than 80 out of 100.
Middle Level
Children who have international certificates of Primary Level form a gourp,
and decide a environmental program to work as the group. By using PDCA
cycle, they work to improve environmental condition of the school and region
where they live. The eco-kids instructor play a role as the advisor. The
activities are evaluated by the report. If the level of the activities
is higher than a certain level, each member of the group will be awarded
with Kids' ISO 14000 Programme, Middle Level Certificate.
Highest Level
Awarding ceremony
have been held at UN organization, such as United Nations University in Tokyo, Japan. This ceremony and international certificate give strong motivation to children on environmental awareness and use of methodology of PDCA cycle.
