-ArTech (International Art & Technology Cooperation Organization) -NGO/NPO-
ArTech is an NGO and also Non Profit Organization (NPO), was founded in
1999. It was registered in Tokyo Metropolitan Government in Japan in 2000.
As is found in the Website, the phylosophy of ArTech is to create 21st century by balance between
the "Art" and "Technology", representing the balance
between "Culture" and "Civilization". One of the 4
major lines of ArTech is this "Kids'ISO14000 Programme". Central
Office is located at United Nations University, in Tokyo, Japan. Regional
Offices or representatives are planned in various places, in New York City
(USA), Paris (France), Middle East, Africa, South America. About 300 instructors
are working for Kids'ISO14000 Programme in various places.
Co-Organizer
-United Nations University (UNU)
UNU is founded by the United Nation by the UN charters. The headquarter
is located in Tokyo, Japan, and various RTCs (Research Training Center)
are located various places in the world. Website of UNU. UNU is the first UN organization that received accreditation of ISO14001
for environmental management. Main theme of UNU now is "sustainability".
-UNESCO (UN-DESD)
UN-DESD is the initiative of the United Nations, and started in 2005 through 2014. The UN-agent for UN-DESD is UNESCO. Under the frame of UN-DESD, ArTech has been organizing International Symposium on Kisd'ISO14000 Programme and Training Course of Eco-Kids Instructors for this programme since 2004. Supporters
-United Nations Environmental Programme (UNEP)
UNEP has been supporting Kids'ISO14000 Programme by introducing this programme
to many both local and federal Governments.
-International Organization for Standardization (ISO)
ISO has been supporting Kids'ISO14000 Programme by
1. rending its intellectual property of "ISO" and logo to be
used in Kids'ISO14000 Programme by ArTech,
2. desseminating the Programme to the member countries through the ISO
network and through the Website.
The children who participated Kids'ISO14000 Programme would never forget
"ISO" and PDCA cycle, which is used in ISO14001 and ISO9001 in
management.
-Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Sciences and Technologies of Japan
(MEXT)
Ministry of Education, culture, Sports, Sciences and Technologies awards
the Minister Awards to the children who made outstanding performance with
Kids'ISO14000 Programme in the school (proposed).
-Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan (MOFA)
-Ministry of Environment of Japan (MOE) for Awarding Ceremony
Ministry of Environment award the Minister of Environment awards to the
children who made great outcomes from Kids'ISO14000 Programme.
-Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) of Japan for Awarding Ceremony
-Japan Electric Association (JEA)
