| Instead, we look back the present
situation from the point of 3000 AD to find the solutions for the
problems of today. This is one of the most essential and the most
fundamental approaches to the problems of the human beings.
The first conference has been held in 1999, at Hakone, where the beautiful Mt. Fuji can be seen dramatically, and we made "the vision for 3000 AD". From the year of 2000, we make plans and projects, by cooperating with the United Nations and its related organizations, so that the vision we made come to the reality in our society. To realize the outcome from The Hakone Conference, we started "Kids' ISO 14000" Programme as an environmental education programme for children in summer of 2000.
